About Me

For over 20 years, I’ve raised and trained my beloved flat-coated retrievers Fred and Fritz, alongside my two wonderful daughters.  In 2017 we moved from the UK to the USA, for the past 8 years I have had the privilege of looking after friends & neighbors dogs caring for & learning from all different breeds, of all ages: from a playful Havanese puppy to a gentle Great Dane senior.

In 2023, I became a volunteer puppy boarder for Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB), caring for puppies while their raisers are on vacation. A deeply rewarding experience that allows me to give back, continue learning as well as supporting a wonderful organization.

When we moved to the US. we acquired a llama! We have adopted several elderly, unwanted llamas ever since, as well as goats, mini ponies, and a stunning 17-hand thoroughbred horse. Caring for this eclectic herd, has deepened my understanding of animal behavior, communication & the need for creative solutions.

I am also a qualified swimming teacher, with five years’ experience teaching all ages how to swim.  From Mum & Baby classes to private adult retirees, my goal was not only to teach the techniques of how to swim but also enable students to gain confidence, trust & a lifelong love for water.  This foundation shapes my kind, patient, trust-based approach to dog training.

As a mum, former swim teacher, and GDB puppy boarder my true passion is kids & puppies.

Helping pet dogs & modern families live their best lives, together’.
